Immense poverty, characterized by food insecurity, low incomes, unemployment, and HIV and AIDS, has left a large number of households and children in Zambia extremely vulnerable.
The purpose of the Nazarene child development centers in Zambia is to provide a place for children to grow and learn in support and love as they face the devastating impact of HIV and AIDS. Children at this center participate in daily activities that include Bible study, enjoying nutritious meals, singing, homework assistance, drama, and sports.
