This child development center in Panama transforms the lives of children who are vulnerable and their families.
The program welcomes children ages 3 years old to 15 years old. Educational support includes tutoring and homework help, though children also learn about creation care, job training, educational opportunities for parents, and biblical values. The staff at the center intentionally nurture spiritual life through practical care, love, and study. To complete the holistic care, the center also provides for a child's physical well-being through nutritious meals, medical and other health services, and regular recreation and sports activities. These activities also encourage relationship-building and social skills in a safe environment. Prevention trainings focus on everything from hygiene and healthy choices to empowering children to identify and avoid abuse.
