This child development center in Panama offers holistic support to children who are living in poverty. The center helps promote educational success by stepping in when school fees are unattainable. This includes providing school supplies, uniforms, and school entrance fees for those who cannot afford them, as well as progress follow-up visits, and incentives for those who receive good grades. There is also a literacy program for both children and parents. The center prepares three nutritious meals every week; together with sports activities every month, preventative health and nutrition training, a medical emergency fund, and regular medical and dental check-ups, the children enjoy improved physical well-being. Regular devotional times nurture spiritual formation, along with spiritual learning activities, Sunday School, discipleship, and evangelistic campaigns. Staff at the center also encourage relationship-building, social skills, and Christian witness through camps, field trips, and quarterly service projects visiting the sick, elderly, and orphaned.
