This Lebanese child development center welcomes refugee children whose families have fled Iraq and Syria. These children cannot enroll in public schools in Lebanon because of language barriers. The center teaches the children Arabic, English and mathematics to ease their transition into life in their new country, and into the public schools. Children participate in daily chapel activities, too. The center works with refugee families, as well, enhancing the likelihood of the children successfully transitioning from their former lives to their new ones.
